Artist and designer Marykate Fleming spent the first half of her career in the children's clothing business creating wonderful collections for big names like Oshkosh b'Gosh, Health-Tex and Buster Brown Apparel. Her work with the art of Beatrix Potter for Peter Rabbit and Friends sparked her love of watercolor painting and she began creating watercolor gifts for friends and family.

This led to the creation of MK and Company. Now partnered with her husband Brian Ledig they continue to develop wonderful gifts for baby and children of all ages.

Each collection has special meaning to Marykate because the inspiration comes truly from the heart, whether for a new addition to the family, the celebration of a special occasion or an interpretation of a childhood memory well worth passing down.
